Well, you've read the notes, the note noted that the time flew away, and now it is time for you to post until the flying away cows come home.

Topic of the Day:  I rarely remember my dreams at all, so if I've ever had any recurring dreams, I probably would never have known. :-\

I finally ate around 3:30 yesterday: clam chowder and a sandwich: Virginia ham on rye, with lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, and mayo. It was really wonderful because I was really, really, really (as Thatch would say) starving.

I think the doctors must have positioned me strangely during yesterday's event when turning me on my left side. Today my left knee is a bit wonky and in a lot of pain. I hope it does not affect my Post Office trip this morning. I must get the Philly Pops work sent out today.

I'm so glad to hear that Elmore's and Jane's procedures went well yesterday. Vibes to Jeanne for hers today.

Indeed! I do wish that each photo gave the singer's song title as well.

TOD:
Recurring Dreams?
I got 'em, baby. First few are the most common.
Fasten your seat belts...

The former workplace -- figuring out how to resume my activities, sometimes having to do so without anyone noticing I've been away. The office setting is always different, and always a fascinating part of the dream.

Waking up on the day it's time to pack and head home from some trip. Getting things together in time is always a major issue. I'm always with a group, sometimes people close to me in real life, sometimes those from long ago school years or job years.

Revisiting a concert hall or a movie theater (a few times, a former church) that I haven't been to in years. It's always a great return, with the place itself being complex and fascinating in its architecture and spaces. Also related: a return to the Institute of Music, revisiting certain corridors and other places of fascination (which weren't necessarily fascinating when I was there).

Finding myself about to music-direct or play in a musical, completely unrehearsed and unprepared.

The House Dream -- it's always different, I'm always rediscovering unused rooms, and it usually involves other people such as current housemates and/or parents or others long dead.

A shopping mall or similar type of large place with corridors and passages that become ever more complex and surreal.

In NYC or another large city, my car isn't where I left it. Sometimes it's my wallet and keys that are missing or stolen.

Losing control of the car, usually at night, sometimes finding I've fallen asleep and I'm somehow lying down in the seat. This takes many forms.

Witnessing an airplane flying low and about to crash nearby, but I'm always safe from the danger, as are the people with me.

I'm on a high cliff or mountainside overlooking the place I'm visiting. The view below becomes ever more distant and dramatic, but without any fear of the height. It's always an attractive area with an interesting shoreline or other water features.

Running toward or away from something, and the physical running itself becomes bogged down in surreal fashion.
Conversely, finding I'm able to launch myself into "flying", of sorts.

And finally, the old finding-oneself-naked-in-public dream. (Has anyone NOT had this one?)

I hope DR Jrand71 is in the habit of leaving the Dream-O-Matic turned off and unplugged when not in use.
I'd hate to be the cause of its self-immolation.

Do you know this classic Weather report from "The Dick Van Dyke Show" - where the theme song for the weather goes on and on and on, then the actual weather report is 3 seconds - and wrong, too!

I just had dream where BK was waxing wroth that you hadn't made that recounting of dreams at least 8 separate posts.
