CRITIQUING THE CRITIC

Well, you've read the notes, the notes critiqued the critic, and now it is time for you to post until the critical cows come home.

I think the pains I feared were an issue with my left kidney are just a pinched nerve or muscle, but it hurts like hell.  I think I've got it from sitting awkwardly for too long working on agent submissions. Today I will fo none and instead spend most of the day lying down.

DR Jennifer, I'm assuming your dinner with family was for Rosh Hoshana, and I'm happy you could all be together. How wondergul! Happy New Year!

Now that I plan to spend the day lying down, I have no other plans.

After being active for a bit, stretching, and kitty cleanup, whatever's causing the lower back issue is currently dormant. That makes me quite happy.

We are in for storms later today, but at the moment the humidity is unbearable.

You know what we need around these parts? A storm. Don't you think? What's it been, a couple of days since we had some good flooding rains? Bring it on!

Well the audience was SMALL.

But the patented HHW vibes worked in full force and we really went to town.

There were a couple of hiccups, but that's okay.  The audience seemed to enjoy it.....but they must have been forbidden to laugh under penalty of death.....however they were generous with their applesauce at the end of scenes and at the curtain call.

I enjoyed the notes....and the revenge.

Yes, I don't mind bad reviews.....but one gentleman in Indianapolis used to get very personal.  He didn't like me at all.....and he wrote in one review that he thought I was awful in the play he was reviewing.....and he just remembered that he hated me in another play that he had seen earlier in the year.

DR Jane asked why I was seated at the table of the family gathering.
Quote
LOL was that intentional or did they run out of room for you at the table?  I am glad you could go out as a family.

There would have been room if I wanted to sit right beside my brother-in-law. But since I'm not super comfortable with that and since I had to serve the food it worked out better. I was only like 2 feet back from the table. And it was easier to get in and out of my table.

DR JOHN G does JB spend some time not speaking to you when he gets home?

When I leave Barnum for five or six hours, he turns his back on me for awhile before the ice thaws.....

I have decided that I will henceforth never comment on anything remotely controversial here.

So from now on, you're only getting sunshine and lollipops from me.
