Back from Uncle Bernie's and a turkey sandwich and some onion rings, and then putting gas in the motor car.

We have only been to Uncle Bernie's once and enjoyed our meal.

I've never been to Uncle Bernie's. :(

It was this date in 1966 that Star Trek first aired.

For years I had thought the 2nd season was the first season since that was when I discovered the show.  Keith worked nights and I kept telling him he had to take his dinner break during the show and watch it with me.  After all, he was the one who introduced me to science fiction.  He finally managed to do just that and of course I was right and he loved it.

I am reading an article about a drive through clinic in Medford, near Ashland, that is giving four shots of monoclonal antibodies to those with recently diagnosed covid.

Symptoms can't be too bad.  One person was sent next door to the hospital.

People can qualify for the antibodies if they have conditions that put them at risk of developing severe COVID-19, including diabetes, kidney disease, a compromised immune system, heart or lung conditions and sickle cell disease. People who are 65 years old or older, as well as people who are overweight may also qualify.

Back from the first choir rehearsal in a very very long time. It was lovely to see (and hear) everyone.

I really would like to see that. It was a surprisingly moving evening of theater.

The bar is in Massachusetts, but from what Rachel said (assuming this is pursued), this 8-1 Supreme Court decision from 1982 really could be the argument to end the abortion ban in Texas.
