My colonoscopy results have been faxed to Lenox Hill Hospital and now I need one more procedure before the radiation treatment begins. God, it's endless.

My one real fear, and regret, over the cancellation of The Fantasticks this year is that I may not ever get to see Tom Jones again. Even now, it was unlikely that he’d have been able to come down for it. But one always hopes, doesn’t one.

I just got an email from Dan Shaheen and he writes this:
Tom is going still going strong. Speak with him almost daily so I will definitely send him your love.  His son Michael and wife just had a baby so Tom is now a grandfather!  Also if you get Encore Monthly there is a nice feature on Tom and the new website.

Thank you for that! That is so good to hear.

Very good news!

DR elmore3003, Encore Monthly is a new monthly theater magazine. The old-fashioned print kind.

I just got the latest issue yesterday. I'll try to scan the article and email it to you.

Glancing over the new site, I see I still need Harvey's 1975 Christmas album.

Thursday afternoon greetings!  Taking it slow until I report to the AAUW book sale site for my 4-6pm shift as cashier.  I told them to give me a sit-down job because standing around in this boot is not very comfortable.

Good morning.

DR Laura, I just got an email from John Bell, who's in Houston with My Fair Lady. I had written him about you, and he wrote back this: I would love to meet your friend.  I think that we are in Phoenix sometime in December.  And Adam Grupper is with us as well.

So, I have two friends on the tour.

Very nice! Thanks, Elmore. I much prefer to bake something than to buy something.

Tell them not to hurry to the stage door; they are not letting you take anything inside larger than a cell phone case, so I'll have to go back to the car after the show.

I will let them know. Remind me the sooner we get to your performance. If I tell them now, they will forget by then.

You should plan a dinner date with John. He's a wonderful pianist and conductor, and I think you two would have a nice meeting.
