By now I have noticed Ron and Arnold stating the correct birthday date.  Early birthday wishes are better than late ones.

Bruce I understand your confusion with the calendar beginning on a Monday. ???

Can't the calendar be reformatted?

Ginny I like white cake in the freezer, if it has ice cream on top, and it comes from Baskin Robbins.

Iris, thank you for the sympathy and hug.

"You asked about eruptions"  I'm not touching that with a ten-foot pole or a five-foot Czech.

Tonight I shall be joining our very own Pogue and his ever-lovin' Julieanne for a little dinner in the Wood of Holly.  Not at Musso and Frank - I'm on a little hiatus from there.

Tomorrow, in honor of Memorial Day Weekend, I do believe we may just have an Unseemly Trivia Contest.

Trust me, I'm not going to write about eruptions on this site!

Evening all!

I went and read the Broadwayworld and Playbill announcements.  Kudos to you, BK!

Great book title but it begs the question, will there be a sequel called, Fast Forward?

Hi Jinx!  Welcome to our world.  Tell us about yourself.

I’m not sure if I should say the HB words or not to DR ARNOLD M. BROCKMAN today or tomorrow so I’m going to do it half and half.

[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%]
Happy!
 [/move]

That’s all you get for today.    ;)

DR JRand. If I get to go see Lynnhurst, I will most certainly take lots and lots and lots of pictures.

3 days off from work!  No more teachers, no more books, no more…….errr.   ;D

Just got an e-mail from young Caitlynne's mother - you might remember young Caitlynne performed my song Annie at a big competition against many people and won.  Here's part two:

Bruce, your song “Annie” is kicking butt here in Canada.  With Caitlynne winning here in Calgary, she got sent up to the province capital to represent Calgary in the Provincial Music Festival for 16 and under against 23 other competitors from across the province.  She won!!!

Congrats to Caitlynne.  There's now one more competition, so let's send her most excellent vibes and xylophones, shall we?

I'm supposed to get a tape of it soon.

That is wonderful news about Caitlynne!

Terrible news about Eddie Albert...I can't believe he was 99 years old! I just didn't realize!

Good evening, friends!

Finally, the long-awaited 3-day weekend.  Right before leaving work today, I sent an email to my department manager that I hope doesn't get me fired.  He was off today and works tomorrow, so I'll watch my work email from home and let you know.

Jane, thanks for the link to the story about Eddie Albert and his son's devotion.

It couldn't hurt, Jane!  Actually, I'm not really worried about losing my job, but as DH Richard said, "If you don't stand up for yourself, who will?"  My feeling is, if people like me whose opinions (I'm pretty sure) are respected by the management don't speak up, we're really in trouble.

I would like to very much, because Bill Finn is a hoot socially, and I'm quite fond of him.  He's crazy, though!
