Thanks to all for the thoughts for my uncle and the prayers from DR TCB and others.

They are most appreciated.

Sunday vibes for MR BK!

There is a place on my external drive that I can stick the end of a paper clip into and it opens the drive......but I don't know if MR BK's drive has such a hole.

Not much going on today.  I want to work on a writing project that I have been neglecting for far too long.

Hello one and all....Happy Sunday!  There's a new Broadway Radio Show posted for your listening enjoyment.  This is another At The Theatre episodes where we chart the history of a great Broadway theatre and all the musicals that have played there.  This time it's the Nederlander Theatre, which just so happens to be celebrating it's 100th anniversary this year.  We'll here performances from all the way back in 1927 right up to the most recent musical tenant to play there, Pretty Woman and a whole lot of fun in between...give it a listen!

Sunday afternoon greetings!  Today’s my last “official” quarantine day and we’re watching the Cincinnati Bengals.

Today, it's for a touring production of The Price Is Right. They basically do the show but without prizes. Hundreds of people are willfully paying $100 in order to have their picture taken by the wheel. They don't get to spin it, mind you. They just get to stand there.

I took a nap but I'm still in a state of tiredness and malaise.

It's outrageous news -- especially given its time and method of delivery. Even though it will SURELY be worked out once all the parties are involved tomorrow. Right? it's an outrage that one has to continually deal with this utter madness.

I'd read a synopsis and liked what I read, so I do plan to read it...eventually.

I found the following on Doerr's website and wish I had read this earlier into reading Cloud Cuckoo Land.

George, we will be flying to see Freyja as a road trip is rather far.  As it is we need to rent a car in Chicago to drive to them.

Back from a good work-through of the singer's show - made a few patter additions, removed some patter, figured out the underscoring, and finally decided to change one song to another - the one she was doing was just too long and not really landing at all.

I have only been to Ikea once, maybe twice.  I went with Craig and can't remember if I went with Bryan.  I have never eaten there.  I do like mashed potatoes and broccoli.

And the hits just keep on coming: Now the helper's mom says she got it wrong and has to quarantine until next Saturday. What a disaster and I can do nothing about it other than answer the ten irritated e-mails I get every day from irritated people. I think I have to find someone else, but for now I just have to play this stupid waiting game and I've asked for her assurance that she will make this her top priority the minute she's back home.

And Kerry's duo show just got pushed two weeks so that it happens one night after the singer's show.

I have never seen The Omen, any version.

I watched the original because of Keith and because I like the cast.

I’m not a fan of scary movies so I’ve missed most of the movies that are “classics”

Neither am I.
