Had one of those newfangled McDonald's crispy chicken sandwiches (mild) - it was okay. Also, a filet-o-fish, which was very good.

In about an hour I'll mosey on over to the theater.

The good news about the second play is that the first three scenes are very long and in one location. So, we'll just go from location to location - there are four, I think. There are tons of props but we're not using props, so if it's important, I'll have the actor add a line about it, basically speaking whatever would be in the stage direction but in character as dialogue.

I used to like the fish sandwiches.  It has been years and years since I had one.

Even though I have no interest in the subject of STATE OF AFFAIRS, as a fan of Louise Penny I am curious about the book.

I went to Goodreads to read the comments and was rather annoyed with some of the reviews.  People are giving it bad reviews without having read the book.  In retaliation for this book a few said they won't read any more of Louise Penny's books.

Lovely family photos.

Bruce, that would be your brother, Joel, between your parents, yes? I never met him and had no sense of what he looked like.

TOD:

I was an adult when I realized my mother had had at least one affair, probably two. Children observe things, even if they don't understand what's going on. Adults think kids won't figure it out.

I went to Best Buy this morning to shop for a new phone. I'd been planning to buy an iPhone SE when they first came out, then procrastinated, and next thing I knew they'd been discontinued. Apple brought out a version 2, but I still procrastinated. It's now time for a new phone. Best Buy won't sell a new, unlocked phone, so I'll have to buy it from Apple. (I'm told this is an Apple rule.) But the two employees I spoke to were very helpful, which I appreciated, as I had a lot of questions.

I also looked at MacBooks and iPads. So much to think about!

I have found that Tuesday mornings are a good time to shop just about anywhere, especially if you don't like crowds.

I joined GrubHub. I don't usually use meal delivery much, but I've been having a lot of sinus headaches lately and just don't want to drive. I must say I like the convenience.

And I'm trying out a new sinus product. So far so good.

We purchased our phones at T-Mobile instead of Best Buy.

Maybe that explains senior discount day at Chuck's, the produce + market we shop at.  Tuesdays are usually busy days there, but not too busy.

I am glad you found a meal delivery service you are pleased with.

I am going to try and post a photo of my scooter, but since I am not very good at those things, it probably won't work.

It worked, Tom!

I did make a Costco run today where I picked up a copy of Paul McCartney's The Lyrics, which they had for 40% off.
