I just noticed that the gas tank is filled from the passenger side:

It's on the driver's side on my Escort...that I've driven for more than 23 years. It'll be weird to now fill the tank on that side. It won't be difficult to change the habit, though.

I was getting out my tickets for the Broadway series for today. The tickets have gotten so expensive that I am thinking I may or may not renew them. I have great seats, but mostly I've been renewing them because I keep thinking they'll have a great season that's worth it.

My blog gets readers from Equador, Korea, China, and other countries, and I do worry about being plagiarized. I don't worry so much about the European readers since I have friends in Germany, France, Netherlands, England, and Ireland. Estonia or Lithuania might give me pause.

I'm with you, DR Laura. The Broadway I wanted to work in pretty much died out by the time I got to NYC in 1979. As an orchestrator, I'm only really good for revivals and I know none of the young orchestrators working on them. My lkast hope is that BK or someone else will take up the Lost in Boston or Unsung Musicals series and keep me working.

If this recording project comes through, it will be a blessing since it will keep me busy doing what I love.

Elmore, I remember when seeing a show was really a special event. When my daughter was 7, we drove to LA to see Phantom (I'm sure I've told the story). I had a manicure and wore a bought-for-the-occasion black dress. She wore a fancy party dress. It was quite a special occasion. Everyone was dressed up.

Today, people show up like they are going to the movies. And the trash left behind is shameful.

And the hooting is awful. I blame America's Got Talent and that ilk.
