This morning I received an email from a friend with a photo of something she found.

It was an invitation to my sixth birthday party.  I guess it meant I was a special friend

I am delighted to see the invitation.  I certainly didn't keep a copy.  I don't even have a photo from the party.

So far just a sore arm.

Well, I'm starting to get a reaction. It's expected, so nothing worrisome.

This afternoon, I have a Zoom meeting with the colleagues I've chosen to be on this recording project with me. This is the first time several people are meeting each other, and I hope it goes well. The pessimist in me says this project will never happen, but 4-time Grammy winning producer Judy Sherman says we must proceed as if it will.

It shows our old phone number too which was eventually changed due to a crazy caller who kept bothering us.

It is, especially that we are still friends after a lot of years of not knowing each other.

My friend moved away at the end of 4th grade and we never communicated again.  The fact that I never knew what happened to her had a huge impact on me.  As a result after our moves I would take the boys back to see their friends.

Years and years later we finally reconnected thanks to classmates.com.

Two months later we met in LA for lunch and ended up talking for hours.
