Well, you've read the notes, the notes were nauseous, and now it is time for you to post until the nauseous cows come home.

Today, I have the day off from work.  My uncle Michael and my sister's boyfriend are going to the Centralia (Washington) outlet stores, and I'm going with them.  I don't think that we'll be down there for very long, but it'll be some justification for me taking a whole day off work when I thought that they were going to Portland today, when they actually went yesterday...without me.  But it's all good. :)

We'll come back and go to my mom's, who's making a Thanksgiving dinner tonight just because of Michael being here, so he won't miss out on that tradition.  Then on Thursday, we'll have our actual Thanksgiving dinner...which is not really that traditional, with just about everyone wanting/liking different things. ::)

I slept rather well. I guess I can remove the bandages today. I was relieved not to find any blood on the sheets.  And yesterday's late bad news: for Friday's MRI, I need a Fleet Enema Thursday night and another on Friday morning. I am not amused.

This morning I decided to move my alarm from 5:30 to 6:00 for the duration of the winter. That gives the apartment 30 minutes to warm up. It's too cold at 5:30.

I may need to step out to my pharmacy today, but I'd rather wait to tomorrow.

DR Ginny, how did Richard's accident occur? I assume he was not wearing shoes or slippers.

For the first time in over a year, DRs, I need some financial vibes. The money is running out, there's no work coming in, that property is not moving and I already know I cannot pay my third of the taxes in February. And with Access-a-Ride a continuous disaster, I am worried about paying for trip every day to my radiation treatments when they start up.

I have no way to even guess what recording I've played the most. In 1970 it was most likely the OBC of Company, in the 1980s when I had no cable and poor TV reception, it might have been anything by Ravel or one of Tchaikovsky's ballets. In the 1990s, it would have been the lastest BK recording I worked on.

Very best vibes for the entire lot of us!

Tuesday morning greetings!  I crashed very early last night and slept until after 8 this morning.  Richard is still asleep, which is a good thing.

DR Ginny, how did Richard's accident occur? I assume he was not wearing shoes or slippers.

He had just poured the boiling water into a tall insulated mug and must have knocked it over when he started stirring it.  He was wearing sandals with socks and the hot water soaked into the sock, making it, essentially, a scalding compress.

I loved Passing when I read it maybe 12 years ago. The novel really stayed with me. Of course, that doesn’t mean the movie is good, but I do want to see it.

As for Rebecca Hall, I was mesmerized by her performance in Parade’s End as the deceitful wife of Benedict Cumberbatch. Again, another book (well, four books) that stayed with me. But I can’t remember her in much else. I didn’t realize her father was Peter Hall.
