Well, you've read the notes, the notes did not take eleven hours to write, and now it is time for you to post until the eleventh hour cows come home.

Is the movie "Polyester" part of polyhistory?

I can assure everyone that I have seen nothing new since yesterday...other than the ice cream bar I hungered for when I woke up 10 minutes ago.

And now, sated, I shall return to dreamland.

It was a hell of a lousy night. I could not get to sleep, and I am very lethargic this morning. I am cancelling my appointment today and stating home.

DR Ron Pulliam, I wrote a story about Annabelle's Halloween plans to creat a House of Horrors and fill it with cucumbers to terrify our neighbors.

Since 2017, I've read a lot of books about cats. I just finished the wonderful Love Saves the Day, which has the most delightful and heartbreaking kitty narrators, Prudence.
I also enjoyed:
Cleveland Amory's three books about his white cat Polar Bear, beginning with The Cat Who Came For Christmas
James Bowen's three books about Bob the Street Cat
Dewey the Library Cat
The Young Adult novel The Incredible Journey and the original Disney film, not the remake with the animals talking to each other.

I think you should have sliced up all those cucumbers and made small packs of eye compresses.  Imagine the fun of handing them out as trick-or-treat surprises.

DR Larry Moore:  My mom gave me a Christmas gift of a books subscription when I first started reading.  Among the books was one called "This Cat Came to Stay".

I recall loving that book.

Definitely "not".   Actually, I seldom breakfast any more. It's coffee for me.

TCB - About your joke that an interview between Patti LuPone and ALW would be something to see!
I'd recalled this, and she actually used the word detente.  But what undid the detente?

Jan. 2018 -  Patti LuPone and ALW hugging and Patti saying "This is detente, ladies and gentlemen."

Ron - Not to be graphic, which means I'm about to be graphic -

But don't you find having coffee without any solid food on an empty stomach kind of makes your poop all splashy?

(That was a way of avoiding saying diarrhea, but I guess no reason not to just say it.)

John G - Have you ever met John Archibald from castrecl?

He also doubled as Santa and the mean boss - which on Broadway were two totally separate roles.

On Broadway and at Madison Square Garden,  Santa seemed to be a role given to a beloved "name" actor who could draw like George Wendt who had been Norm on Cheers, and another time, Wayne Knight who had played  Newman on Seinfeld.

I was surprised reading in John Archibald's bio how MANY plays he'd been in, and he just as it happened had never before this been offered an Equity job in a musical [before he had turned to a career in being a home medical helper].  The combining of the roles had a nice effect that at the curtain call, we never had that "should we boo the villain" moment for the mean boss (or is the boss just wacko?), since John took his bow as Santa.

He seemed to really enjoy posing for pictures with kids - and some adults who asked - as Santa after the show.

One of the show's costuming secrets was that he kept his mean boss outfit on under the Santa suit, and it became part of the padding since John is not really heavy at all. One quick change looks like it had to be a trick, but he said they're all geared up for that change. (the day I saw it, though, they forgot to hand him a prop really needed for his scene as Santa - but of course they got it to him, or the scene wouldn't have gone on :) )

And bringing this full circle - in the movie "Elf" that character of the mean (or maybe wacko) boss is played by Peter Dinklage.
