Have a wonderful chat everyone but watch those pronunciations and accents.

Lyrics to The Anniversary Waltz

May I always listen to the anniversary waltz with you
Is this just a dream come true
An anniversary wish for you

May this be the answer to all future years
Millions of heartaches and a few little tears.

May I always listen to the anniversary waltz with you

Just left a sparkling chat. I must finish some work and go to bed. Jennifer you've been a busy poster. You are almost at 200 posts yourself. I'll have to post like a madman this coming week to keep ahead of you.

See ya tomorrow on the board

I just returned from a short sojourn in chat.  Lord have mercy, they're talking about everything tonight:

mormons, jesuits, nuns, nutella, apple tarts, poutine....

You name it and I'm guessing it's fair game!

DR Ron: I also ADORED the show THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE with Cleo. Hilarious. And when that show ended, Jackie Cooper went right into a different kind of comedy with HENNESSEY which ran three years. I liked it as well. Oh, such fond, fond memories.

Speaking of I LOVE LUCY, the fellow I went to see in the play this weekend was doing the Lucy dialogue from the "Phipps Department Store" episode this morning. I was howling with laughter.

Does anyone else think that the British version of STRANGERS ON A TRAIN, even with its tiny little bit of extra footage, is superior to the American cut? When I put the DVD in, it's always the British version that I watch now.

I’m not familiar with this.  What year was it released and who is in it?

What a lively and sparkling chat!!!  It was clipping along at a mind-boggling pace, and was simply swelligant.  Special thanks to the girls of HHW. :D

Unfortunately, the chat and my computer decided to stop talking to each other, pick up their toys, and go home, so here I am, sadly no longer chatting.  Ah well, next week will have to do.

Jane - it's just the same movie with about two additional minutes - the DVD has both versions.

It's the 1951 Warner Bros. STRANGERS ON A TRAIN directed by Hitchcock, but the British cut has a slightly longer "train" section which I think improves the characterizations and strengthens the gay subtext buried in the story. (You get a clearer understanding that Bruno is physically attracted to Guy, at least it seems clearer to me.) If you buy the DVD, both versions are included on the disc.

Laura II... Now now.. let's be fair. I didn't desert or dessert you. I said the proper goodbyes because I had to take care of some things. I also stayed logged in.. so it wasn't a question of being ON or OFF

I love all the girls of HHW!

I am a very very bad secretary to the girls of HHW.  :(

Hugh Panaro is most definitely included and I will get rid of WSMA as a separate listing.
