The family is going to my mom's for our quasi-weekly dinner this evening.  My mom's making fettuccine Alfredo.  I have an unopened jar of Trader Joe's Limone Alfredo Sauce that I bought a while ago, but just never opened.  I'll bring it and maybe we can try it.

I had a good night's sleep until 2:30 or so when the cats decided to keep me up. Annabelle slept on my feet, which was painful and irritating, Thatch talked to strangers at the window, and Stella zoomed about. I tossed about for the next couple of hours while the cats made noise, fought over who would lie in the latest Amazon carton and played with one of their ball toys. At 5:30 I canged the alarm to 6:30, but just after 6. I decided I had had enough.

I’ve been listening to a collection of classic Christmas tales, including Gift of the Magi. There was a somewhat maudlin tale from Willa Cather, a lively Sherlock Homes mystery and a not-entirely successful tale from Mark Twain. Up soon are tales from Bret Harte and a fun Anthony Trollope.

I really enjoyed the book that was the basis of the movie BK is watching. Sorry to read the adaptation is less than good. Okay
