The handyman has come and gone. He replaced the rusted out hinges on my bathroom cabinet, changed a light bulb in a ceiling fixture that requires a taller ladder than my stepladder, and did some repairs to the roof. I do hope the roof is fixed, as more rain is coming.

Disappoining mail call today. Drat. Oh, well....HURRY UP, MONDAY!!!

I went to a favorite restaurant for lunch at noon. They advertised fried chicken and pork chops. At noon, neither of those items waw ready. They had out their vegetables, some baked chicken and some brats. (It's like a buffet, but they serve you).

I asked if the pork chops would be out very soon. I was told "maybe 10 or 15 minutes."

I ask you, if a restaurant opens at Noon, shouldn't their food be ready for potential customers who come for those advertised items?

Skipped to the end of The Eyes of Tammy Faye. If BK thought the script for Respect were too cliched, then he should stay light years from this one. I didn't even find Jessica Chastain to be all that good. She seemed to be doing a caricature, which what everyone else in the movie appeared to be.

Stumble-through is done - some tempo issues that we've now fixed, and one of the kids is struggling, voice-wise. She's doing Frozen Jr. at some amateur kids theater thing and her moron director made her sing Let It Go five times in a row and she of course blew out her voice. She's been resting it but it hasn't fully come back yet. I adjusted her high notes in her solo so they're easier for her to belt and hopefully she'll be fine by tomorrow.

My Fair Lady was one of the most beautiful shows I've seen. The sets, costumes, etc. were wonderful. Elmore's friend brought the house down with Get Me To The Church On Time. It was so nice hearing a real orchestra, and the music was absolute perfection. The orchestra got quite a cheer from the audience.
