Thankfully, I only have a few errands to run, and a few things to do around the house today.

I'm blowing off schlepping thirty miles each way to see a friend's high school holiday concert tonight. I'm sorry. I normally would, but right now, my few free evenings are precious.

My sister had some banking to do this morning and then we went over to the house for some preliminary work.....the appraisal for household items is tomorrow.....

I have never done such a thing so it will be a new experience for us.

I put the 2022 stickers on the license plates of the two cars.....the Jaguar needs to be washed before the actual sale.....

I watched YOU'RE A BIG BOY NOW on TCM last night.  FFC was on with Ben.....he didn't have much to say.

I remember liking it when I first saw it.....I thought Peter Kastner was VERY good....  Today I looked him up on IMDB to find out that he passed away in 2008.....and some rather traumatic things that happened to him as a child that really gave him a difficult life.....

Has anyone read All That She Carried? It's getting rave reviews, and I can't really understand why. The writing is both pedantic and pedestrian. There's much to be interested in, but it all reads like a lecture.

So, my new sleep machine is now three months past due and will likely take four more months before it gets here. Thankfully, my current machine is working. May it continue to work.

Elmore, I really like the Bette Gypsy. I didn't realize she sang it poorly. Shows how much I know about music.

On of the shortcuts my work team uses in MS Teams is that when someone has a question that has been resolved, the supervisor posts "XX is resolved," where XX is the initials of whomever posed the question.  But every time I see this, even if it is not for me, I start singing "I Resolve" from She Loves Me to myself.

After yesterday's church Christmas party, I am doing laundry. White tablecloths and napkins. And barbeque sauce.

The pulled pork was fantastic. The best ever.

Some nice abandoned leftovers, too. Which is what I am eating for lunch today.

The pulled pork was not abandoned, sadly.
