My voice mail messages on the iPhone are showing up days later - not good. Apple says it's not them, ATT is the culprit. Apparently people have been complaining about it for years and it's other carriers, too.

Yes, we sometimes get days-late messages and voicemails through Verizon.

We don't have anything around it yet, but here's the ca-1962 aluminum tree with its similar vintage tree turner, and a modern color wheel because the vintage one is missing a part. Ornaments are just the very lightweight reflective bulbs, a few of which are of similar age. Better ones in a few days, including video of it turning, etc.

Beautiful tree.

Poe would have loved it.

(He also would have eaten it.)  :)

And I am home! The procedure is over. I have 4 or 5 small dots tattooed to my lower pelvis to guide the radiation. My neighbor Ann treated me to a Lyft (?) ride at 6:45, I was undressed and ready to go by 7:45, and I was dressed and waiting for Access-a-Ride by 8:30. I called to see if I could get an earlier pickup than 9:36 and I could not. I sat in the waiting room and read my book. Around 9:40 a nice driver named Jose showed up and brought me home.

Great news (except for having to wait)!!

A Sondheim song for his version of Mary Poppins. Not great but interesting.

That is interesting!

It’s been so warm here that I’m contemplating turning on a fan. And tonight it’s supposed to be a low of 69.

The young roofer who has been our contact is coming on Tuesday with the owner of the company to see if they can figure out what's up.  Hopefully the owner can figure it out.

Richard’s fourth burn clinic visit was very encouraging.  Slight change in treatment to stimulate healing and we return a week from today.  Then we get 2 weeks off until January 5

On our way home we stopped at one of our favorite delis for lunch, then went across the street to Graeter’s for ice cream.  To add to yesterday’s conversation about ice cream prices, 2 single-scoop dishes were $10 - and worth every penny.

Love me some Graeter’s.
