Well, the concert was wonderful. Doc Watkins had a nice horn section that really tore up some old favorites like Silver Bells, White Christmas and, my favorite, the Christmas Waltz. They did Stan Kenton's arrangement of God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen. And Duke Ellington's version of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies was great.

There was one song that was new to me, Christmas in Cowtown, that I really liked. Will have to look for it online.

That's great, John!  I need to sign up to usher for a few more things this month.

People who volunteer more for the upcoming local ballets will get preferential treatment in regards to being assigned to that show.
