I slept very well. The alarm rang at 5:30, but I was lying in bed with Thatch st my side, and we lazed for thirty minutes, petting and cuddling with him and dozing. Then Annabelle jumped onto the bed, followed by a belligerent Stella, and they got into a fight. There was hissing and squealing, they ran off, Thatch followed, and I got up. It was 6:00.

The Doc Watkins version of the song on YouTube was very different from last night’s. From simple, lilting jazz trio to big band. Both were nice.

Well you can imagine my embarrassment at such praise from the denizens here at HHW.

Thank you all. Although it's true I am going to Hollywood next week to make a picture, my heart will be here at HHW. And one can't be away from one's heart too long......
