It's been quite a day. The Access-a-Ride was 30 minutes early, and radiation folk were running behind schedule. After that, I had to see Dr Blacksburg, but because things were running late I missed my return trip. I called Access-a-Ride and I had a return trip within 15 minutes.

So, the driver called me to say he could not turn onto 77th Street. Could I walk to the corner? When I got outside the hospital, I saw a seriously crazy man lying in the middle of the street and traffic backed up. All these hospital personnel were trying to get him up. Well, they succeeded, and then he ran back and lay down again.  I walked to the corner, met ,=my ride and came home.

I think they were being nice as they had been friendly before my father died.  I was rather pathetic, and they knew my sister had also just died.

Rude was the woman at the gym today who decided to use the empty treadmill between me and another woman.  There was an almost empty row of treadmills in front of us, at least 20 of them.

Surprise!  Surprise!  The ENT office called me today to let me know that my Feb. 9 appointment would need rescheduling because the doctor would be out of town that date.

So, now I suffer until Feb. 17th.  Not that seeing the doctor will end the suffering, but...

The good part of that rescheduling is that I have a morning appointment (8 a.m.) vs. the afternoon appointment (1 p.m.).  My first appointment will require me to be in their offices at least three hours, they said, so...

The sun is shining brightly. The temperature is 53 degrees.

I should go out and walk.

But, I don't feel like it.

I am currently watching/listening to "Earth vs. the Flying Saucers" starring Hugh Marlowe.  Sounds very dramatic.
