The good part of that rescheduling is that I have a morning appointment (8 a.m.) vs. the afternoon appointment (1 p.m.).  My first appointment will require me to be in their offices at least three hours, they said, so...

Yes, much better timing for a long appointment.

Sorry.  That is the date of my long awaited ophthalmologist appointment.

Should I reschedule?

The sun is shining brightly. The temperature is 53 degrees.

I should go out and walk.

But, I don't feel like it.

Lovely.  Get out for a walk.

I am currently watching/listening to "Earth vs. the Flying Saucers" starring Hugh Marlowe.  Sounds very dramatic.

Jim Matthews from Another World.

Futzed and finessed some particularly awful writing, which is better now. That took a long time, then I wrote three new pages and am about to end the chapter and begin a new one.

My Question for ASK BK DAY:

Did any of the 1950's sci fi films that you saw at the theeder live up to the preview of said sci fi film that you had previously seen?

DR GINNY I thought that Madelyn Pugh, who wrote for I LOVE LUCY and Lucille Ball's other shows among others went to Ben Davis.  But it turns out that she went to Shortridge......

We had a first today in the apartment: I was sitting on the edge of the bathtub, cleaning the cats' water bowl and taking in Cat to Annabelle who was lying in the bathtub. After I filled up the dish, I said in English, "Come on, Annabelle, it's time for your treat." As I stood up, she leaped up onto my back, climbed onto my shoulder, and rode out of the bathroom. When we reached my dresser, I stooped and she strolled off my shoulder onto the top of the dresser.

Don’t. She’ll think the show is really Annabelle’s got Talent and demand the full hour.

A pot of chicken soup is on the stove. Plenty of carrot, onion, celery and cabbage cooking in it. Should be ready in 20 minutes or so.
