DR JEANNE there is a neighborhood kitty who has his breakfast at my house.

Now and then I see him.  I think I posted a picture of him here a year or so ago.....very unusual markings.  Regular gray short hair from his hips forward and tiger markings from his hips to the tip of his tail.....and a few tiger markings on his face.....

A ragged tiger, eh?

On my father's side of the family, ALL of my cousins, save two, are older than me.  A couple are pushing 90-something.  My mother was a bit disconcerted when she first met and married my father that many of his nieces were her age or older.

While they all seem to be in relatively good health (my father's side of the family is long-lived), I expect a call almost any day about one of them having passed.

It's always a blow when a family member passes.  My condolences.

I watched The Social Dilemma and had serious thoughts about deleting Facebook. But I have not done so yet.

I had an earlier-than-expected and rather short call from my doctor.  I was then able to take my tax documents to my CPA before I checked my PO box.

I will be glad when pest control arrives.  The service works very well.  The only time I ever see a bug is when it's a dead bug.

I'm up, I'm up - about seven-and-a-half hours of sleep.

That's what I've been averaging lately.  I read an article a month or so back that said folks our age don't require more than 7 hours or so.  I used to enjoy sleeping for 9 or 10 hours. Now I don't seem to be able to.  I wake up and my brain takes over thinking about things I need to do.  Nothing restful about that.

From John:

I also started Maus today. I really don’t like reading graphic novels. So, I am taking it one chapter at a time. But this one is very good so far.

Out of curiosity I tried looking at some of it online.  I would need the physical book to attempt to read it.

Thank you for the referral, Jane.  I watched the first two episodes of RESIDENT ALIEN tonight.  I love Alan Tudyk.

I am glad you are enjoying it.  I read an interview with Tudyk talking about this role and the recognition he has been receiving from fans.  He seems like a nice guy.

Made shrimp and grits for lunch. The grits came with a cheese sauce packet that was so disgusting, it went down the toilet. I shaved Parmesan cheese over the top instead.

I was able to resist the doughnuts. I merely told myself that all the Valentines pink ones were day-old baked goods.

I am sure they were, not that I need any encouragement to resist Duncan Donuts.

Carol had physical therapy, so I’ve been walking along the water for the past hour or so.

Lovely.

So bad it made you want to vomit on the ground?

I read in the news that in New Zealand, they are trying to break up the trucker "Freedom Convoy" by blasting "Baby Shark" at them 24/7.     :)

And Canada is using Ram Ranch, a gay cowboy song with some fairly explicit lyrics.
