Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a miracle, and now it is time for you to post until the miracle cows come home.

I am moving slower than I would like this morning. I blame the cold weather.

Today is the 15th anniversary of my dad's death.

William E. Moore was one of the best men I have ever known.  He had a good work ethic and a true sense of responsibility to family and friends.  The older I get, the more I seem to be like him, but I will never approach the level of standards I believe he possessed.

I still miss him enormously.

DR Elmore, it's amazing to think that I met y'all only five years after your dad died. That's just me, of course, because from my perspective, his death was always a thing in the past, whatever "past" is at any given time. But five years is nothing. And as we all know in things like this, fifteen years is nothing.

TOD

I'm almost afraid to, but I'm very interested in watching THE SOCIAL DILEMMA. This will happen sometime soon. I need to find a good time for it.

In my case, Facebook would be the one hot spot. My other online activities don't amount to the proverbial hill of beans in comparison with the evil giant. I'm happy to say I never branched out to Twitter or any of those other things. But I can use the kick in the ASS that this documentary will provide.

Another beauteous day looms.

I have a 10:30 a.m. telephonic doctor's check-in, followed at 2 p.m. by a visit from pest control, a quarterly occurrence.

In between will be some tidying and vacuuming.

Tomorrow is a "me day".  Will probably visit my CPA with my tax documents for the annual assessment of what it costs to be an American citizen beyond what they have already taken.

Having said the above about Facebook, I also know that I "manage" it better than most of the populace. But I'm also smart enough to know that this is part illusion, and that it owns us nonetheless.

Tom, I’m visiting my friend Carol in Florida, so there’s a full kitchen.

Carol had physical therapy, so I’ve been walking along the water for the past hour or so.

Stopped at a Dunkin for coffee. It had way too many grounds at the bottom.

I was able to resist the doughnuts. I merely told myself that all the Valentines pink ones were day-old baked goods.

I got a brushoff reply to my email from the building's management; itr's almost identical to their response to my complaint over Labor Day:
I have review the images with the super and he has assured me that he will be taking care of the situation there. We will also be sending out notices to remind tenant how to dispose of the trash correctly in order to limit the accumulation and in an effort to keep the trash area as clean as possible.

DR JEANNE there is a neighborhood kitty who has his breakfast at my house.

Now and then I see him.  I think I posted a picture of him here a year or so ago.....very unusual markings.  Regular gray short hair from his hips forward and tiger markings from his hips to the tip of his tail.....and a few tiger markings on his face.....

I love my computer and all the work I do on it for the theeder.

I use Facebook to keep up with friends and family - and as I have written, when I direct a show I create a Private Group for the cast/staff/crew so I can post notes, choreography easy sheets, photos from rehearsal, etc.....and they can ask me questions.  It is also very useful if there is a change in the rehearsal schedule or I want to add something to the evening's activities.

Much easier than group emails.

Of course there is always that ONE person who is not on Facebook....
