I just received the worst news about a friend, a reeds player in these parts I've played with many times. Her daughter, 21, was killed yesterday evening in what is so far a completely unexplained shooting in upstate New York. I think they don't even have a suspect yet. This is unimaginable, and vibes for her family would be most welcome.

DR George, you might be able to go to a lens place and have your glasses repaired. It shouldfn't cost much, I would think.

Thanks, Larry.  I'll contact my eye doctor place first and see if they're still under warranty.  If they are, I might be able to get whole new frames, but I don't know, yet.

DR GEORGE don't they have an optical place at Costco?  They will probably fix your glasses and not charge much......there is usually a sign that says so.....
