Have had a busy day. Got up late, went to get my mail, got a bite of lunch, came home. I watched an hour of TV and then called WalMart who said my prescriptions were ready. I don't believe my insurance company relented but WalMart's pharmacist told me I could get the expensive meds for 50% off. Not sure how that worked, but I have a receipt I can submit for reimbursement should the insurance company finally agree to pay.

Meantime, all the same meds are being filled by the VA and they will be mailed to me anon.

Once I was done with WalMart, I drove over to Taco Bell and got myself three supreme tacos and a Dr. Pepper.

It's the first Dr. Pepper I have had in more than three years. It was GOOD!!!

I have to wait until about 6:30 or 7 to start these new meds. They are all twice a day, 12 hours apart, so I need to be on the schedule I would have normally.

While I was at WalMart, I walked around waiting for the pharmacy folks to take a half-hour lunch break. I saw many things I had not seen before.

Sadly, I saw very few CD recordings, but a larger LP selection, with the prices being ridiculously high. If I am going to pay $25 for a new LP, it needs to come with a quality-assurance guarantee of some sort.

They have discount coupons that sometimes work. 50% off is a good discount.

Thank you. I will look into this. Just glancing at the article is a reminder of my relief when the doctor said my eyes are healthy. I had been very concerned about that.
