I loved that book and would be very interested in this.

I also really liked the movie, except for how they spoiled an incredible revelation by SHOWING it to the audience in advance of how it was presented in the book. I was furious at how they blew that. At least that's what I thought at the time. I haven't read or seen it since back then (early aughts?), so I might view it differently now. But somehow I don't think so.

I didn’t like the movie, except for Julianne Moore. I doubt I’d change my mind. I did like the book, though I haven’t found my groove with Virginia Woolf yet.

The day is slowly aging.

My trip to the "ophthalmologist" was productive. I will be having cataract surgery in couple of months, I reckon. I always misuse optometry when I mean ophthalmology. I don't know why it matters, but "they" are very particular about it.

I went to CostCo anyway. Got some nice things. Made a brief stop at a small grocery for eggs. I don't need two dozen or 18 eggs. I used to be able to buy a half-dozen at my California grocery (Safeway) but hereabouts, only a dozen are sold.

Yes, ophthalmologist have medical degrees and can do eye surgery

Come to think of it I haven't seen half a dozen eggs for sale in awhile, but then I haven't needed to buy them in awhile.

Oddly, some two hours later as the sun is setting, it's 76 degrees. Temps will not get out of the 60s overnight.
