Woke to the news that our newly cast black gal has dropped out after one music rehearsal. She says she got home and had some unexpected news and she has to drop out. I don't get it, I don't want to get it, and I'm done with people like this.

After 4-5 unanswered calls to Local 802 about the "No Musician Left Behind" program, I went to Facebook, found the union page and within minutes of sending an inquiry, I got a response. Hopefully, I will lear something soon.

I got to the doctor’s office at 8:58 for a 9 a.m. appointment. I was ushered back at 9:02. I saw the doctor at 9:07. I left at 9:12.

I think this might be a record.

And then you woke from the dream in a cold sweat as you realized you'd just overslept your appointment, and now they can't fit you in for another two months!

I think we found a replacement for our actor. Also, I was trying to get a new song from Amanda McBroom and her collaborator, Michele Brourman. They wrote today that nothing had come to mind for an LA song. I reminded Amanda of something she posted on Valentine's Day - really cute and funny and VERY LA. She confirmed she'd posted and is already writing it. So, looks like we'll have that new song.
