Topic of the Day:  the only one that I can remember right now is The Sixth Sense.  I did not figure that out at all.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

I know that there must be others, but I can't think of any right now.

The sixth sense was a good one even though it was laid out for you. I didn’t catch it either

The one I figured out and I didn’t have to see the movie The Village. M Knight Shymalan began to be known for twists and from the brief description about this movie I knew what it was

Another film I figured out  was Primal Fear because at the time I was working on a tv series with an episode that had the same plot twist

It's chilly this morning and I did not want to get out of bed. The cats had other plans.

I, too, dread Saturday's time change. I see no reason for it, and I think it's a dumbass waste of time and energy.

I shall have to consider The Twists......

I think my favorite happens in [the original] The Manchurian Candidate when the real Commie agent is revealed......didn't see that coming.

Yes DR JANE - as DR JOHN G said the Hays Office or whoever was in charge at the time changed the movie ending of THE BAD SEED.

In the movie the mother survives her suicide attempt [with a bandage on her head she phones her husband and tells him she knows she will have to "pay" for what she's done]..... and Rhoda is presumed dead until she bounces through the door - then she sneaks out at night and goes to the pier to get the penmanship medal and gets struck by lightning!

In the play, the mother's suicide attempt is successful, and the cast sits around for a bit talking about it and Rhoda and we are to assume that Rhoda, too, is no more....  Then she bounces through the door and it's clear her murderous ways are going to continue.....

An okay sleep, with one of my bizarre dreams yet. The guys scheduled to go to China on this business trip couldn't, and I was next in line to go, myself, on just a few hours notice. This involved being handed a new blend of Scotch to sample (it was lovely) which might have been what the company I was working for had something to do with, and then finding my way back to my hotel room (room 909, I think) which was on a floor near 128 or some such - I had to yell for assistance from one of the employees in finding the room. I knew I had but minutes to shower, dress, and be ready to leave. The image of the corridors and room doors was unique and interesting, to me, though probably hard to describe.

Don't ask me where any of that came from.

A later dream involved a bunch of us (I don't know who "we" were) finishing up our meal at some interesting place (but I don't know what was interesting about it) and me telling everyone we have to get moving in order to pack up and be ready to leave on our return trip home. This one was apparently a car trip. Then we were outside and I forget what was happening there.

Enough!  Oy!
