And now, I must be off.  I need to shower, get dressed, eat something, hie myself to the place where the reading will take place, then the reading can take place. :)

Until later!

I've been sitting too long at the computer today. I think i'm happy with what I've accomplished for the most part. I need to get up and add another layer of clothing. It's freezing here.

Once again there have been articles about blood type and covid.  Those of you who have had covid what is your blood type.  DR George wasn't very sick so possibly blood type O.

Thanks, DR George!

See, I never remember to keep an eye on those numbers.

But now I feel almost ... respectable. Which, after nearly ten years here (i think it'll be ten in April?), maybe I should.   8)

My neighbors Judy and Mark brought mr a large helping of Judy's lasagna and some garlic bread for dinner. It's quite tasty.

Those of you who watch "Father Brown" do you remember this episode?  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2555594/

The nun in that episode is the main character in the spinoff "Sister Boniface Mysteries". https://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-previews/sister-boniface-mysteries-father-brown-26426765.

We've been watching the Sister Boniface series, DR Jane. She doesn't bother us.

My DH used to work for Blue Sky, the media company that creates the Ice Age movies, amongst others. One day, he told me that one of the HR admins accidentally emailed a payroll spreadsheet containing everyone's salary information to THE ENTIRE COMPANY.

She was escorted out.

DR Jane, I meant that we enjoy it. Several DRs had written that they found the title character annoying.

I missed that.  I watched the trailer and her voice is not in the best range for me.  Hopefully when we watch on our tv, and the sound goes directly into my hearing aids, I will be ok.

DR JohnG, you mentioned the other day a new translation of The Canterbury Tales. Who is the translator?

Jane, Singdaw is correct. DR Ron and I both watched it. Ron found her irritating. For me it's just a disappointment. I'm so eager for a good new series, and this just didn't make the grade. There were some sound issues in the first episode and I found it difficult to hear and understand her, but they cleared up in subsequent episodes. Others may enjoy it.

I've been busy with cleaning and laundry and all manner of little things. My new tax preparer found something I'd overlooked, so I must dig into my records and try to find an answer.

My 1st-world disappointment: Flower Burger, which I'd become addicted to, no longer delivers from any of the food delivery firms. I could order from their West Hollywood location, but delivery would be 30-60 minutes. Ugh! It was such a convenience.

TCB, I suspect many people feel as you do about Ukraine. Let me remind you that much information is classified; even if something was in the works it wouldn't be (hopefully) given to the press.

I'm hoping that the Russians will take care of things. Not only are the average Russians suffering due to the fall of the ruble, but Putin's billionaire friends have lots tons of money. There must be some very unhappy people.
