The covers are great. I first preferred the one with the Christmas lights, but I have defected to the other side. I think the one with the splashes of red are it, and that the other one will be perfect enhancing the blurbs.

I am back from the chiropractor.  I took my coffee with me, and it kept hot going and coming thanks to my thermal cup.

It's very weird out there right now.  It's supposedly 10:30 a.m., but it seems earlier.  The sky is blue, and the sun is out, but it's low on the eastern horizon and it seems much earlier.

I know this will change in time.  It's all about time.  It's all about space.  It's all about strange people in the strangest place.

Ooh!  What a time warp.

It's Monday in Johnston SC.

Only one eating place is open in Johnston on Mondays, and that doesn't open until 11 a.m.

Sigh.

I passed a ton of places on my morning travels, including Wendy's, Hardees, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Zaxby's.  I wasn't a bit hungry when I passed them, though.

Sigh.

So yesterday on my BookFace was a notice about a NEW BROADWAY SHOW WITH ALL KINDS OF AWARD WINNING PEOPLE INVOLVED AND IT'S SURE TO BE A HIT AND EVERYONE WILL LOVE IT IT IS THE SHOW WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR AND IT IS CALLED POTUS.

The more I read about it, the worse it sounded......I could certainly be wrong - but I'm not sure this is what we need now.  I don't think I am particularly interested in it.....how can you satirize something that is already a parody of itself?

Back from lunch.  BBQ ribs, lima beans, dressing and cranberry sauce, all washed down with a glass of unsweetened iced tea.

Then I decided that I wanted to walk.

The walk was good if a bit uncomfortable toward the end.  I blame myself for not stretching sufficiently to begin with.

Right now, though, I feel quite good.

One thing about this morning bothers me:  All the peach trees have lost their vibrant pink color.  The flowers, such as they are, took a major hit from two nights of sub-freezing temps.   Time will tell.  There are still blossoms, but how severely damaged the crop will be I cannot ascertain.

On my way home from my walk, I took a turn through an old part of the Mt. of Olives cemetery, the town's oldest.  There are many graves there from the 1800s.  There is also an avenue of gravestones that read death date of 1918.

When I was in elementary school here in the first through third grades, I used to walk through the cemetery on my way home.  I was always fascinated by the older markers, and I guess I still am.

I much prefer the Christmas lights on the left.  It probably will look different as a book cover, however, with my light sensitivity and my eyes hurting this morning, the one on the right looked like alien lights in the sky.

I knew I should have waited until this afternoon to open the notes.  I usually do as they are easier for me to read then.
