Does anyone here remember all the fuss that was made over the possibility that computers wouldn't work once the year 2000 arrived? It was called Y2K...and businesses, especially, freaked out over it.Hard to believe that was more than 22 years ago!
And my laptop back then no longer works. Who said it was a hoax?
DR Jeanne - I'm sure you planned ahead and have food and all you need for the next few days. If not, there's always delivery!

It has been a very quiet, low-key day except for some phone calls I made regarding various medical appointments. All is well.Even though it's an hour later than it ought to be, theoretically, the day sure passes by quickly. That said, the U.S. Senate passed a bill today that would make daylight savings time permanent. If it is approved by all of Congress, it would become effective in November 2023.
I am quite pleased at how I'm doing today. No pain at all from yesterday's outpatient surgery, but I am VERY tired. When I've had these things in the past I allowed 4 days of recuperation -- and needed every bit of it. This time is easier.
Fixes entered and book is ready for the publisher.
