I'm back from a night out at Shea Stadium where the Beatles once did play. As did Grand Funk Railroad for you fans of that group.
In any case the ballgame was rain delayed for an hour and a half, and the game itself was 90% boring. Then in the last inning some crazy stuff happened and it ended up being quite exciting. A Met hit an inside-the-park home run to tie the game (very rare), then, in extra innings the Angels, who are now calling themselves the "Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim" (have you ever heard anything as inane?) took the lead only to lose it AGAIN, when a Met hit a regular home run with two strikes and two outs. So, it was fun, though I was mainly just hanging out with big sis.
