Roadshow: Disney's Sleeping Beauty in Technirama 70 or whatever it was called.

Did it get an actual roadshow presentation? I'd have to look that one up, too. But I saw it when it had just been released at one of the better theaters in Columbus. I fell in love with it, and I remember that we, along with the neighbor kids who went with us to see it, acted out scenes in our front yard.

I really don'tt know, but I do know it showed at only one theater in Cincinnati, The Valley, and one theater in a suburb of Dayton. I also belioeve - although my memory could be wrong - that you had to resewrve seats in advance.

Just for off-the-record:

Does anyone know if Bobby Morse had problems with substances of any kind?

Ha!

Cheese boards are so old school. Why not a fries board?

Because that looks cold already.

Elmore, Alexa is playing one of the pieces from Moulin Rouge. I can’t help but remember your verdict: an ADHD musical. One line from one song, then a line from another and all interest is lost because they’ve moved on to something else. I feel like a pinball trying to keep track.

We just had an exceptionally delicious breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

Details, please?

Keith had the tofu veggie burrito while I had a tofu scramble.  They came with cottage potatoes.   My scramble was the best I have ever had. There were slivers of delicious grilled (?) onions in it.  The flavor was perfect.

When away from home I tried to avoid following the news and missed the horrible story of the Ukrainian zoo employees.

Jane, I'm glad you were able to get your hearing aids to work with your new iphone. I'm sometimes frustrated that the salespeople don't have more expertise, but there's an awful lot to know and they're not highly paid. I hope you're very happy with your phone.

I've been feeling a bit burnt out lately and haven't felt like doing much at all. Very unlike me! There's usually tons I want to do, even if I lack follow-through.

Since we have a number of Wordle regulars, let me ask:

Do you have a specific strategy you use when choosing the first and second words or do you just choose words at random?

I like to start with the vowels and usually use the word DEATH as my first choice. (Interesting choice, huh?) My second choice varies.

Have you used the WordleBot?

The WordleBot analyses your choices, then says things like, "Good choice, but I could have done better." What?! I prefer my AI without attitude, thank you!

Vibes you have lots of interest in the house.

Is there a lot of real estate activity in your area these days?

My favorite version of "Far Away Places" was sung by Miss Gale Storm on "Oh Susanna" "The Gale Storm Show" & "Starring Gale Storm"

It  :D was probably photographed by DR JEANNE's uncle.....it is NOT included in any of her CD's nor is it on YouTube.  She stood by a large globe and sang the song....as her character contemplated leaving her life as a Social Director on an Ocean Liner and ALL of her friends to marry a titled gentleman who had become interested in her.

It was most impressionable to a 10 year old who watched the show.....

I was pleased to see that the French TV series BALTHAZAR is returning for a fourth season. But didn't they kill off the star at the end of season 3? The show is definitely quirky, but bringing characters back to life is a bit much, even for them.

Ms Storm was definitely photographed by my uncle, but, Jack, I'd be surprised if he photographed you, too!   ;D
