Even though there are only eight actors in the show, when you get the non-professional rights to perform the show, you are required to purchase 16, count 'em, SIXTEEN copies of the script, TWO copies of the stage manager's edition, and TWO copies of the director's book! :o

That adds up to 12.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

The book is nonfiction, however, the author admits taking narrative liberties and composing dialogue, and occasionally juggled chronology “to create a smoother story line”.

I remember reading something else by her. It was the same.

I liked her style of writing, but then I also like to think a nonfiction book is truly nonfiction.  It was drilled into us, my one ex-teacher in our group, that this is a modern day style of a memoir.  I guess my concept of a memoir has evolved-lol

I remember several years ago (probably less than 10, though), this guy had published a "memoir" and it got fairly good reviews, but it was found out that several incidents in his story were completely made up and the publisher issued a voluntary recall.

Our library sent back our copies and got a refund.  I think I'd heard that other libraries kept theirs and may have re-catalogued them as fiction, but I don't specifically remember the details.

The reviews for Funny Girl have largely not been kind.

I'd read a couple.  At least, they weren't horribly outright pans. :-\

And we will never know what the other four scripts are for!
