Made a huge vat of lentil soup. On true Southern style, it called for 8 slices of bacon and 2 pounds of sausage. I used 12 ounces of chicken sausage instead.

I am assuming this was to do with the ongoing immigration status issues. Very very glad to hear that it went well!

They have updated the work policy re: our use of state-owned electronic equipment. I am not supposed to be accessing HHW from my work computer, even outside of work bours. I can still use my personal phone or tablet, but that's not nearly as convenient. Boo!!

When I was still working, which was from home for the last several years of it, it was simple to sit at my desk (which is very comfortably large) and have both the work computer and my personal one going all day long. That was a great benefit, and I guess quite the luxury in comparison to many people's situation.

OOF!!!   Stuff I didn't even know I had!  A lot of it bought and stored by my mom and way back on the shelves.
