Has George made progress on the new book?

Not today.  My friend David came down from Seattle and we had lunch together, and then since my show was canceled for tonight, I met him downtown and we went to an event at the Washington Center since he had an extra ticket.

After the event at the WCPA, David and I met another friend of his who was volunteering at rock band concert at the Capitol Theater. 

[George]

I don't know what band it was but they were loud.

[George]

Fortunately, we didn't stay too long.

After two or three "songs" we left and went to McMenamins The Spar and had some food and chatted for a while.

I know.  He's probably the first real (platonic) "guy" friend I've had in forever.

I'm now sitting in my car ketchuping on the posts before I head home, because I probably won't get home before BK locks today's day of posts.

It's pretty good.  I've had it before.  I had my usual Deluxe Cheeseburger with onions added and a diet Pepsi.  Always good.

Yes.  They don't put them on automatically.

And they're chopped into little-ish chunks, like the kind Costco used to have for their hot dogs, not rings of raw onion.

And now, I must leave downtown and head home.

I will have to bring my own onions next time I get a hot dog at Costco.
