Why would they even do it this way?  How could they think that anyone would accept that Adam is older?  Did they try to explain it?  I remember the series with Lisa Hartman and that Bernard Fox was on it, but I don't remember the details. :-\

It really is a throw away line. Adam calls Tabitha his kid sister (not big sister) and it is state he is mortal

I haven't got to the episodes with bernard fox or the one with gladys and abner.

Well, I'm leaving work.  I'll be home in a bit and I'm officially done with the house-sitting!  Anyway, here's a picture of Mela (pronounced May-la), the calico cat who lived in the house that I was house-sitting (and the reason that the house needed to be sat ::)):

Yes, they do.  One of my favorites!  Or are you looking for the macaroons that are made with ground almonds as opposed to shredded coconut?

The macaroons at Mothers Macaroon are all the coconut kind.  Plain, Chocolate Dipped, Almond, Chocolate Dipped Almond, Orange, Chocolate Dipped Orange, Pineapple, Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Dipped...

If you're speaking of the Almond Macaroons, the Heidelberg Pastry Shoppe I mentioned earlier makes wonderful ones.  A little larger than a quarter in size - such a wonderful taste in a bite-size cookie.  They also make macaroons with ground hazelnuts.  Very good too.

-Shall I send you some?

:)

Only send hazelnut ones if you want me to stop breathing.  ;D

Almond macaroons, no coconut at all!  Oh my God I will be in food heaven. :D :D :D

I have never had coffee cake with marzipan.  Oh that sounds good.  I swear I'm gaining weight just reading the list of goodies.

Hey, I like our Hawaiian shirt picture!

And now I will attempt to post some photos...I tried uploading to PHotobucket but doggone if they didn't automatically resize the photos so small that they were all blurry...and then I tried to upload to my AOL photo album, but couldn't seem to get a URL to paste into this here message. I must be doing it all wrong..but I will just upload to this sight the old fashioned (and space hogging) way.

Here is BK entertaining Adair and Dan with his amusing stories. This is on the deck at JMK and Betsy's house.

It is probably a good thing I cannot walk to this bakery from Bethesda.  Keith said to just pretend it all tastes terrible.  LOL,

First time I saw a nun I started crying she was a witch and didn't want to get on the bus with her. ;D  Fortunately for all nuns she was very, very nice about it and won me over.  Hey what did a little Jewish girl know about nuns anyway.  I did after that and was full of questions.

"Would a convent take a Jewish girl?"

Hey, even at that age I wasn't about to go where boys weren't permitted.

Why alienate fans of the original show by altering things that fans would care about and immediately recognize? Seems like some nutty executive decision making to me.

I'm in the business center after another VERY long day.  AOL would not even load properly so I'm using Safari, which seems to be doing okay.

The "interiors" of Tabitha were shot at The Burbank Studios.  All the location stuff was indeed shot in SF.  My copy is waiting for me back home.

May I just say that these photos of me are horrendous (I'm talking about the now ones).  I am NOT that fat.  I am NOT that fat.  I've been losing.  Those cameras are adding ten more pounds than I've already got on me.  Well, I'm telling you, twelve weeks from now I will weigh twenty to twenty-five pounds less, and then I'll take a break, and then I'll lose an additional ten.

DR MBarnum, seeing the photos of you on this page convinces me that you look a lot like my Uncle John. If I can find a picture of him, I'll scan it tomorrow and let folks here compare the two of you.

Bruce I thought it was our new computer, set in extra large print for me.  I will attest to the fact you were not that heavy when I saw you.  ;D  Folks, I'm not joking.

Finished up with Mamet's HEIST today. I had only the vaguest memory of having seen it before. There are some fun twists and turns, but after watching it tonight, I realize now why I preferred THE SCORE, another caper movie released at almost the same time with Robert DeNiro and Edward Norton.

I then watched the season premiere of RESCUE ME on F/X. There's lots of buzz about Denis Leary scoring an Emmy nomination for the first season of the show, and this second season premiere was quite arresting drama.

And lots of wonderful New York City character actors: Robert John Burke (a longtime favorite), Dean Winters, Lee Tergesen. Good show.
