Criterion does this perfectly during their two semiannual 24-hour flash sales. You know EXACTLY how long you have to get an order in, providing the goods you want are still available. So, same thing, really.

I don't know how many of you may have seen the Amazon Prime Day commercial. I saw it a few times up to, and through, the 12th. Yesterday, the last day, the damned commercial played every single commercial break of the pogramming I was watching regardless of station.

Drove me crazy. They only had ONE ad, so it was highly annoyning.

So, my optometrist recommended me to my HMO ophthalmologiust for cataract evaluation. That office just called. They will try to get me inb next month, otherwise it's Nov. 1. WTF? My HMO asks why, on a scale of 10, the chance I would recommend them to anew patient is a 5. I should have said 0.

I was hoping it would be the right time, Indiegogo-wise, but it says 37 hours left, which makes no sense on any level whatsoever because it means we end in the afternoon on Saturday, when I started the campaign on a Wednesday at eleven-thirty. My fear is that it's screwed up and we WILL end tomorrow. There's no way to contact anyone there either.

I'm lousy at math, too, and I'm doing this in my head, but I get a totally different end time:

At noon Pacific time on Thursday, they say there are 37 hours left.
That's what was on my screen, too, at 3 pm Eastern.

So, jumping ahead 24 of those hours takes us to Friday noon for BK.

Add the remaining 13 hours (37 - 24 = 13) and that puts it at 1:00 am Saturday, i.e. late Friday night.

Yes? No?
