I drugged myself out of my mind with painkillers and muscle relaxers last night and slept very well. The lower back pains continue, and I am not happy. Between the leg pains, my poor vision, and mobility, I've been a really hostile and frustrated sonofabitch the past two days. I will probaby spend much of the day lying on a heating pad and widshing I were dead. The only good news is tomorrow is Social Security day.

I still have a wall of vinyl, which brings me great enjoyment when I take the time to give it the attention it deserves. Lately, that's been pretty much nil. I have to replace/upgrade the motor on my main turntable (I've got the parts for that and it's an easy job), and hopefully find a wiring fault so I can fix that as well. The second turntable needs to be properly restored by someone who knows their stuff, and that will come later, along with a couple of other vintage pieces of equipment that should be restored so I can sell them at some point.

BK, your stay in NYC naturally coincides with tech week for my show that opens on September 30, and the theeder is (allowing for traffic) a two-hour drive from midtown. As we get closer to it I'll definitely figure out a way to get down there for a visit or two!

We;;. goddam! The incompetent US Postal Servie has once again claimed they delivered a package yesterday that was not there when I went for it this morning. It could be our package thief, or it couyld be the dyslexic postal person who has managewd to not deliver at least four packages to me since June 20210, nne of qwhich the postal morons have ever recovered.

I also have all my vinyl.....I play some records now and then. And I like to look at them.

I have three turntables in various rooms and use them all....now and then.

I also like to use the LPs in the display case at the theeder when we do musicals.....some kids don't know what they are.
