Another lousy night of sleep, only this one was truly positiverly lousy. I was awake for several hours before I dozed off. I had Thatch and Annabelle with me, and those two cats taske up 90% of the bed. I couldn't get comfortable, and I couldn't find any cool place to settle in. At some point I woke and neede3d to find a new pillow and spot since the sheet and pillow I was sleeping on were very wet with sweat.

Last night we watched Downton Abbey: A New Era. It looks great on the new TV, but I can neither hear half of what they're saying nor can I turn the TV volume any higher.

A less than spectacular night of sleep here, too. I got a second wind going (don't ask me where the first wind had gone) and was awake till nearly 2:30, and I woke up every couple of hours after that.

I can say that most of today and the overnight are Orson Welles movies on TCM, should that be your bent. I expect to indulge in a little of that myself.

HA! The patented HHW vibes have worked and last night's dress rehearsal was okay+.

Considering what Wednesday was like - I'll take it.

I have a telephonic appointment with my oncologist at 9 a.m. It is now 9:25 a.m. He didn't call for the last one either.....this is the rescheduled one.

I am going to get a complex.

I was a major slug-a-bed this morning. I was in bed by 10:30 p.m. last night, and I arose at 9:25 a.m. today.

I am guessing no one here is watching Big Brother 24, but last night's episode was odd and disconcerting.

It was eviction night, but they spent the first 35 minutes of the hour-long show going over all the mundane discussion about who was going to vote how, etc.

BB24 watchers already KNEW how it would turn out. I guess CBS wanted us to start doubting the outcome. As predicted, the eviction vote was 9 to 1. The 1 voter for the evicted person is very very bitter now. He feels deceived. It's a good comeback for some of the nastiness he has inserted into the house...he and the evicted.
