Thanks for the Wordle tip, DR George.  I'm not sure it applies to what I'm talking about, though.   If you know the last four letters are EAST, for example, the word could be YEAST, FEAST, BEAST or LEAST.    It's just a matter of guessing at that point, right?

Funny since I can relate to this.  I asked Keith and his first response was a donut, like a glazed donut, with icing.

Been listening to a wonderful history called When Paris Went Dark: The City of Light Under German Occupation: 1940-1944. Fascinating stuff. Great stories of famous people as well as the folks in the Resistance.

True, but if you only have one or two chances left to guess in your usual browser, that's when you can move to a different browser and continue guessing without losing.
