Also on this date in history, in 1173, construction was begun on a little bell tower in Pisa, Italy. It opened 199 years later. But it appears the contractor's final bill was not paid.

Funny thing is, if this had happened to a Democrat president, they'd be calling for his head, they'd be in the streets chanting lock him/her up. His loyalists are delusional - there's really no other way to say it. He's doing what he's always done - bluster, play the victim when there's a problem - how people cannot see this pattern that's gone on for decades is astonishing to me.
