I'm sure they were, but I don't know exactly how much they cost. We originally bought tickets for The Book of Mormon in 2020, but that never came to Seattle (Covid, you know), so we were able to transfer those ticket prices to Hamilton. David hasn't said how much the difference is, yet.

The heatwave has broken, I slept rather well last night except for two rather alarming dreams, and Annabelle actually ate breakfast with her siblings.

I woke up around 11:30 last night after a disturbing dream I no longer remember, although I told it to Thatch at the time. When I went back to sleep, I had a Night oif the Living Dead nightmare in which I was one of many trying to keep the living dead away. I woke around 1:30 or so, rather frightened. I was very happy the aire had cooled enough to pull some blaqnkets over my head.

My last dream was about my 1979 production of the Benjamin Britten arrangement of The Beggar's Opera. Curiously, the dream included no one who was in the production except for myself, but there were quite a few friends, co-workers, and employers from the 970s in it.

My only hope for the salvation of this country is that enough women are pissed off at the Rethuglicans that the Democrats hold the majority. Whatever intelligent members of the GOP are being voted out since Trump has ordained irt. I had decided to get Mary Rodgers's new book, "Shy," on Kindle. But with the plethora of footnotes involved, I thought perhaps the hard copy would be more easily digestible. However, Amazon is currently sold out of the hard copy version.
