Larry, the files are MP3s. The .rar is another way to compress files like .zip. If you need a .zip version, I can send that very easily.

My aunt had a 45 rpm record or two by Mr Perry Como that I played over and over when we visited.....Glendora and The Railroad Goes Through The Middle of the House.

I also liked Bobby Darin a lot. And of course Neil Diamond.
