I tried watching a horrid little "now" rip-off of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Forty-five minutes was plenty.

Tomorrow night begins the last weekend of The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong.

Our director and her husband, who is in the play, had a death in their family, so they won't be here this weekend.

[George]

Fortunately, his role (the scripted light and sound board operator) has very few lines and will be played by the co-director of the show.

[George]

I'm the ACTUAL light and sound board operator, so that will happen without any problem.

[TCB]

Had a bout of insomnia last night or this morning. Read some poetry and some Woody Allen shorts, including one about My Pillow, and nothing helped.

Woodsy Allen shorts?  I don’t even read my own shorts.

Around 9:00 I called again. Still, no car had been assigned. Then I got a text message saying my ride would arrive in 62 minutes!

I called my HMO and canceled my appointment and came home. At 9:05 the driver called to tell me he was here. I told him I would not be traveling with him today. Then I called AAR and canceled my ride home after my appointment.

I may have missed this, but I was wondering if you are under the care of a physiatrist.

Hmmm, I thought that was the pain doctor.  I should have asked.

You know, I am wondering if that is the confusion around my doctors. Dr. McCaleb was shocked when I said that the doctor at the pain clinic didn’t order x-rays for the pain in my hand.  I am going to a “pain clinic” and he is thinking it more like the PB&J that Iris was talking about.

I have been shocked by this pain clinic.  They take a urine test to make sure I am taking my pills and not selling them on the street for $5.00 a pill.  I have bring my pill bottle in each time so they can out that I am using the correct number of pills.  The PA sees me for about ten minutes, asks about pain level at that moment, and sends me on my way.

And that costs me $45.00

It reminds me of these Protective Payees that get assigned to SSA and welfare clients who can’t be trusted topay there own bills.  These PP’s Get a cut off the top for handling these clients money, but mostly just hand over the money no questions asked.

No.  Every place I've lived has been too small...although where I live now has a clubhouse, so that's a posibility.

But other people who've hosted cast parties have all lived fairly close to the performance spaces, and my place is further away.
