I think I have found my book book to write. It’s set in Scotland (as was The Second Chances Bookshop and Diary of a Bookseller). It must involve someone inheriting property where they don’t live (see most). Their personal life is at a crossroads. They have to bring life back to something while it brings life back to them. The twist this time will be it’s a children’s bookstore. And it’ll be titled The Wee Bairn Book Barn.
I'm also in the not-quite-with-it pronoun camp. Language must and does evolve, but I usually dislike the changes. I do not like "they" instead of "him" or "her," but I admit to its usefulness.

Despite being used before, I feel it has plenty of life left. I'd happily read another book with that theme.

Back from the lunch meeting - mediocre food, but nice meeting. Turns out this PR person went to high school with me in my graduating class, although I didn't know her. Small world, isn't it?
How about a new word that is a combination of him & her, such as "herm"
