My DH found the discount shelf at the restaurant grocery store. So we will be eating mushrooms this week. A three pound box of sliced mushrooms for $4.

I am sorry to hear about the extremely extreme heat wave in California. It's especially bad when you KNOW it's going to be there for X number of days, and that there's nothing you can do about it.

But power outages, too? Horrible.

I shall immediately refrain from reminiscing over "Santa Anas I have loved" and such things - at least until this nightmare is over.  :)
