I just blew an entire morning going down a completely unplanned rabbit hole.

So often, it only takes one tiny insignificant question popping into one’s head. You think, yeah, as long as I'm sitting here I’ll just take a minute and see if I can look that up ... and that’s it. I ended up with some other good finds, while the original thing remains a mystery. And it really is insignificant, since I was never in the place or knew anyone who was. I just have a memory of seeing it many times in passing, and I'm curious about it.

But ... guess what! It's ASK BK DAY, that's what!  :)

So ...

BK, there was something that looked like a nice restaurant on the north side of Wilshire between Robertson and La Cienega. When I lived on Clark Dr. in the late 1970s I could walk to Dolores or the Fine Arts, and I was always struck by its subtle low-lit design. I'm sure I saw its name then, but the place wasn't anything flashy, with no big signage or anything. Does that make any sense at all?

Long before Sen-Sen's were discontinued in 2013 I had thought they stopped making them.  I can't recall the last time I saw any for sale.

Those are our next three overnight lows; i.e., perfect windows-open no-fans no-AC sleeping weather. And then it warms back up. But I shall really enjoy these.

Randy's son Cory works in the CIA, so Friday is "bring your family to work" day. Randy is flying to DC to go with Cory, his wife and two children t the CIUA on Friday. I wish I could go as well.
