Jealous of former DR Jose, who this afternoon is seeing Bernstein's Mass at the Kennedy Center.

This is the fiftieth anniversary year of both the piece and the venue.

Well, at least they can't say that we didn't get to page three.

Anyone have any sure-fire tips for how to remove the old-timey CD seals and the sticky case residue which remains?

Lighter fluid. Not butane, just the regular bottle of Ronsonol. Yellow bottle. Been using it for years.

And what DR John G. said. There might even be other products marketed especially for this, but I've never tried any.

All of Puerto Rico is without power. I think Hurricane Fiona is going to be a major disaster.

This week is one of the most important days up the year, up there with Noche de los Rabanos, Eliza Doolittle Day and St. Swithin's Day. Do you know what it is?

Forgot to mention that a raft of Indiegogo perks arrived yesterday!

Mine are being sent to my work, so tomorrow is the earliest that I might get them.

And absolutely NOT Goof Off!  It's a "potent acetone-based formula" that will pretty much melt the plastic. :o

After church I took communion to three hours, picked up egg sandwiches for Vixdad and myself and came home

When I woke I moved laundry from washer to dryer and went to the church to pick up the used communion linens

There you go, three hours sounds tiring to me.

Today was Vancouver's annual PeaceHealth APPLETREE Boston-Qualifying Marathon. The course runs along the Columbia River Renaissance Trail and our home. Out for a walk, we missed most of the runners except for one old geezer who, eventually, passed us. The final runner.

Talking with a race official we were told the last guy, Larry, has run 2300 marathons.
