I know an American who was living in India at the time he had his hip replaced.  What a difference compared to here. If I need a hip replacement I want to go to India to have it done.

Ditto on that.  I am so scared I will have to redo my shoulder as the pain keeps getting worse.

Much cheaper, too. Medical tourism has apparently become quite popular and has good reviews.
