DR TCB did you remind the pain clinic that they refused to diagnose your hand issue?  >:(

DR TCB I feel bad for the nightmare you are in.  I think honesty might be the best situation, except you shouldn't need to go to Urgent Care and I suspect they are always hesitant to give out pain meds :(

Aa couple of years ago I used my debit card for gas, food, lodging on a car  trip  from NY to Floruda, with no problem whatsoever.

Then we went to buy ice cream cones at a shop in Florida , my card was declined.

I called the bank and was advised it was stopped  for possible fraud...that $14 was apparently a step too far

Friday afternoon greetings!  Here’s what my sister posted on Facebook earlier:

Just heard from our daughter, Laura. She is safe and well. She just went out to her home, her carport, the roof over her shed, and a bedroom window are gone, but no visible water damage. She is feeling very lucky. The condo where she was staying had 4-6” of water come in through the sliding door tracks. Both Laura and Diane are safe.

We are greatly relieved.

A news reporter in Fort Lauderdale on protecting her microphone.

“A lot of people are asking what is on my microphone. It is what you think it is,” Galer wrote on her Instagram stories. “It’s a condom. It helps protect the gear. You can’t get these mics wet. There’s a lot of wind and a lot of rain, so we gotta do what we gotta do and that is put a condom on the microphone.”

Anybody notice that Gov. Death Sentence is making ridiculously inane statements after the hurricane?

What ;D

You put the mic packs in (dry, not lubed) condoms so that the actors' body sweat doesn't short them out.
